    • Be able to assess an emergency situation and act safely and effectively
    • Administer first aid to an infant or child who is unresponsive and breathing normally
    • Administer first aid to an infant or child who is unresponsive and not breathing normally
    • Administer first aid to an infant or child who is choking
    • Administer first aid to an infant or child with external bleeding
    • Administer first aid to an infant or child with a suspected fracture
    • Administer first aid to an infant or child with a head, neck or back injury
    • Administer first aid to an infant or child with a condition affecting the eyes, ears or nose
    • Administer first aid to an infant or child with an acute medical condition or sudden illness.
