• Unit 1: Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider
• Unit 2: Be able to assess an incident
• Unit 3: Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally
• Unit 4: Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally
• Unit 5: Be able to recognize and assist a casualty who is choking
• Unit 6: Be able to manage a casualty with external bleeding
• Unit 7: Be able to manage a casualty who is in shock
• Unit 8: Be able to manage a casualty with a minor injury
• Unit 9: Be able to conduct a secondary survey
• Unit 10: Be able to provide first aid to a casualty with injuries to bones, muscles, and joints
Assessment is via assignment submission
The fee for the programme is as follows:
- 6 Months - Accelerated mode @ GBP £1250
- 9 Months - Standard mode @ GBP £950
