1. Palliative Care Principles: Explore the philosophy, principles, and goals of palliative care, focusing on quality of life and symptom management.
2. Pain Management in Palliative Care: Learn about various pain assessment tools and pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions for effective pain relief.
3. Symptom Control: Study symptom management strategies for common symptoms experienced by patients nearing the end of life, such as dyspnea, nausea, and fatigue.
4. Psychosocial Support: Understand the psychological, emotional, and social aspects of end-of-life care, including grief, bereavement, and communication skills.
5. Ethical and Legal Issues: Examine ethical dilemmas and legal considerations in palliative care, including advance care planning, decision-making, and end-of-life legislation.
6. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Develop skills for working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support to patients and their families.
7. Professional Certificate in Palliative Care and End-of-Life Management: Acquire specialized knowledge and skills in palliative care and end-of-life management, enhancing your ability to provide compassionate care and support.
8. Applied Research Project: Apply knowledge and skills acquired throughout the course to conduct a research project addressing real-world challenges in palliative care and end-of-life management.

 

 

 

 

Assessment is via assignment submission

The fee for the programme is as follows:

• 6 Months - Accelerated mode @ GBP £1350
• 9 Months - Standard mode @ GBP £1050

The programme offers following fee payment plans:

6 Months programme
● Payment option (a): GBP £450 x 3 monthly instalments
● Payment option (b): GBP £1282.50 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)

9 Months programme
● Payment option (c): GBP £210 x 5 monthly instalments
● Payment option (d): GBP £525 x 2 quarterly instalments
● Payment option (e): GBP £997.50 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)

The qualification is delivered by London School of International Business (LSIB) and it is awarded by an Ofqual-regulated Awarding Body. All of the qualifications are listed on the Ofqual register.
