   • Understanding the unique needs and challenges of elderly individuals.

2. Unit 2: Healthcare Management in Geriatrics

   • Principles of healthcare management specific to geriatric care.
   • Strategies for ensuring quality of care and patient safety in geriatric settings.

3. Unit 3: Geriatric Assessment and Care Planning

   • Techniques for assessing the health and social needs of elderly individuals.
   • Developing comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs and preferences.

4. Unit 4: Legal and Ethical Issues in Geriatric Care

   • Understanding legal and ethical considerations in geriatric care administration.
   • Compliance with regulations and standards governing geriatric healthcare facilities.

5. Unit 5: Facility Administration and Operations

   • Management of day-to-day operations in geriatric care facilities.
   • Budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation in geriatric healthcare settings.

6. Unit 6: Quality Improvement and Risk Management

   • Strategies for ensuring quality improvement and risk management in geriatric care.
   • Implementing protocols to enhance patient outcomes and mitigate risks.

 

 

 

 

Assessment is via assignment submission

The fee for the programme is as follows:

• 6 Months - Accelerated mode @ GBP £1350
• 9 Months - Standard mode @ GBP £1050

The programme offers following fee payment plans:

6 Months programme
● Payment option (a): GBP £450 x 3 monthly instalments
● Payment option (b): GBP £1282.50 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)

9 Months programme
● Payment option (c): GBP £210 x 5 monthly instalments
● Payment option (d): GBP £525 x 2 quarterly instalments
● Payment option (e): GBP £997.50 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)

The qualification is delivered by London School of International Business (LSIB) and it is awarded by an Ofqual-regulated Awarding Body. All of the qualifications are listed on the Ofqual register.
