3. Unit 3: Elderly Care Strategies

   • Care planning and implementation
   • Medication management for older adults
   • Preventive healthcare measures

4. Unit 4: Communication in Elderly Care

   • Effective communication techniques with older adults
   • Dealing with cognitive impairments
   • Empathy and active listening skills

5. Unit 5: Social and Emotional Well-being of Older Adults

   • Understanding social isolation and loneliness
   • Providing emotional support and companionship
   • Engaging older adults in meaningful activities

6. Unit 6: Legal and Ethical Considerations in Elderly Care

   • Legal rights and protections for older adults
   • Ethical dilemmas in geriatric healthcare
   • End-of-life care and advanced directives

7. Unit 7: Practical Experience in Elderly Care

   • Hands-on experience in a healthcare setting
   • Applying theoretical knowledge in real-life scenarios

Assessment is via assignment submission

The fee for the programme is as follows:

• 6 Months - Accelerated mode @ GBP £1350
• 9 Months - Standard mode @ GBP £1050

The programme offers following fee payment plans:

6 Months programme
● Payment option (a): GBP £450 x 3 monthly instalments
● Payment option (b): GBP £1282.50 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)

9 Months programme
● Payment option (c): GBP £210 x 5 monthly instalments
● Payment option (d): GBP £525 x 2 quarterly instalments
● Payment option (e): GBP £997.50 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)

The qualification is delivered by London School of International Business (LSIB) and it is awarded by an Ofqual-regulated Awarding Body. All of the qualifications are listed on the Ofqual register.
