2. Pain and Symptom Management:

   • Strategies for assessing and managing pain in palliative care.
   • Addressing common symptoms experienced by patients in palliative care.

3. Communication Skills in Palliative Care:

   • Developing effective communication strategies with patients and families.
   • Addressing difficult conversations and discussing end-of-life preferences.

4. Psychosocial Support:

   • Understanding the psychosocial needs of patients and families in palliative care.
   • Providing emotional support and coping strategies for patients and families.

5. Ethical and Legal Considerations:

   • Exploring ethical dilemmas and legal considerations in palliative care practice.
   • Understanding advance care planning and decision-making processes.

6. End-of-Life Care:

   • Providing holistic care and support in the final stages of life.
   • Addressing spiritual and existential concerns of patients and families.

7. Bereavement Support:

   • Providing support and resources to grieving families and caregivers.
   • Understanding grief reactions and coping mechanisms.

8. Practical Skills in Palliative Care:

   • Developing practical skills such as wound care, medication administration, and positioning techniques.
   • Hands-on training in providing personal care and comfort measures to patients.

 

 

 

 

Assessment is via assignment submission

The fee for the programme is as follows:

• 6 Months - Accelerated mode @ GBP £1350
• 9 Months - Standard mode @ GBP £1050

The programme offers following fee payment plans:

6 Months programme
● Payment option (a): GBP £450 x 3 monthly instalments
● Payment option (b): GBP £1282.50 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)

9 Months programme
● Payment option (c): GBP £210 x 5 monthly instalments
● Payment option (d): GBP £525 x 2 quarterly instalments
● Payment option (e): GBP £997.50 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)

The qualification is delivered by London School of International Business (LSIB) and it is awarded by an Ofqual-regulated Awarding Body. All of the qualifications are listed on the Ofqual register.
