2. Understanding Aging and Health:

3. Communication Skills in Elderly Care:

   • Developing effective communication strategies for interacting with elderly individuals.
   • Understanding the importance of empathy, active listening, and non-verbal communication.

4. Providing Personal Care:

   • Learning practical skills for assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility.
   • Understanding the principles of dignity, respect, and confidentiality in personal care.

5. Dementia Care:

   • Understanding dementia and its impact on individuals and families.
   • Learning strategies for supporting individuals with dementia and managing challenging behaviors.

6. Palliative and End-of-Life Care:

   • Understanding palliative care principles and providing compassionate end-of-life support.
   • Addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of terminally ill patients and their families.

7. Promoting Independence and Well-being:

   • Developing person-centered care plans to promote independence and quality of life.
   • Exploring strategies for maintaining physical and mental well-being in elderly individuals.

8. Legal and Ethical Considerations in Elderly Care:

   • Understanding legal frameworks and ethical considerations in elderly care practice.

Assessment is via assignment submission

The fee for the programme is as follows:

• 6 Months - Accelerated mode @ GBP £1350
• 9 Months - Standard mode @ GBP £1050

The programme offers following fee payment plans:

6 Months programme
● Payment option (a): GBP £450 x 3 monthly instalments
● Payment option (b): GBP £1282.50 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)

9 Months programme
● Payment option (c): GBP £210 x 5 monthly instalments
● Payment option (d): GBP £525 x 2 quarterly instalments
● Payment option (e): GBP £997.50 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)

The qualification is delivered by London School of International Business (LSIB) and it is awarded by an Ofqual-regulated Awarding Body. All of the qualifications are listed on the Ofqual register.
