• Overview of palliative care philosophy and goals.
• Holistic approach to addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
1. Symptom Management
• Identifying common symptoms experienced by patients at the end of life.
• Strategies for managing pain, nausea, dyspnea, and other symptoms.
1. Communication Skills in End of Life Care
• Effective communication techniques with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Supporting patients in expressing their wishes and preferences for care.
1. Psychosocial Support
• Providing emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
• Addressing grief, loss, and spiritual concerns.
1. Care Planning and Documentation
• Developing individualized care plans based on patients' needs and preferences.
• Documentation and reporting requirements in end-of-life care settings.
1. Ethical and Legal Issues in End of Life Care
• Understanding advance care planning, informed consent, and decision-making.
• Legal considerations surrounding end-of-life care, including euthanasia and assisted dying.

The fee for the programme is as follows:

• 6 Months - Accelerated mode @ GBP £1350
• 9 Months - Standard mode @ GBP £1050

The programme offers following fee payment plans:

6 Months programme
● Payment option (a): GBP £450 x 3 monthly instalments
● Payment option (b): GBP £1282.50 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)

9 Months programme
● Payment option (c): GBP £210 x 5 monthly instalments
● Payment option (d): GBP £525 x 2 quarterly instalments
● Payment option (e): GBP £997.50 x 1 instalment (We offer 5% bursary on total fee for students opting to pay in full)

The qualification is delivered by London School of International Business (LSIB) and it is awarded by an Ofqual-regulated Awarding Body. All of the qualifications are listed on the Ofqual register.
